Hello and welcome to my blog. I have been doing web design for around 5 years now and I believe that I’ve gotten pretty darn good at it. I have learned everything on my own through personal research and a lot of trial and error. I just started doing WordPress sites about 2 years ago and really love it. A lot of folks say that WordPress is not a CMS, but more of a blogging platform. While in some aspects I definitely agree – it does have its limitations. But for most websites (and my customers), I have found it is more than enough. There is so much customization you can create and the theming is only limited to your imagination.
That in a nutshell is why I started this blog – (1) to write about web/graphic design and cool stuff going on in the biz, (2) to continue my WordPress education and use this as a sort of testing ground for new plugins, ideas and concepts (admittedly a more selfish reason, and (3) if I may, to discuss some personal musings and family stuff as well. I actually have been meaning to start this thing for a few years now and have just had too much going on to actually get it all up and running. Now that I have a little free time in between jobs, , I figured this is the perfect time to start writing some articles.
So, whether you are a current client of mine, a prospective client, or a fellow web/graphic design geek, welcome and I hope you enjoy.
